Frédéric Cirou looks on the world with a mischievous eye. His talent for observation is what led him to become a professional photographer twenty years ago. During a two-year period as assistant photographer in an advertising studio, he learnt about lighting techniques, character portraits and still-life photography...In 1983, he set up his own studio. Still using artificial lighting, he carried out assignments for Vogue, Printemps, Baccarat and others. His subjects have been numerous : decoration, food, portraits. Recently he has become enamoured of the grandeur of cities and has produced a series on crowds and urban architecture for PhotoAlto. |
