Patrick Sheandell, of French-Irish origins, grew up in Ireland rocked by the sound of Celtic music. He completed several tours playing the Uilleann pipes and Tin-Whistles before turning towards imagery, his first love. He started as a studio assistant at the Vogue studio before working with Lothar Schmitt. In 1987, he freelanced for fashion magazines and advertising agencies. His contact with music continues however, since he is frequently called upon for the creation of CD packaging. It is with a brotherly complicity that he has been able to open the door into the secret universe of adolescents. The sense of freedom that radiates from his images is strongly inspired by the vastness of Scottish landscapes. |
